i'm a little confused with things. tell me..

why and how can people change their attitude of things so fast!? is it because of the situation, the people, the environment or is it just because they are built that way. is it also because we r living in singapore and therefore, being in a city, we go places so fast that we are stressed out all the time? do we know how to chill out to begin with? i dun understand... how come when a lady is pissed of, they rattle on.. they go shoe shopping, they eat tons n tons? and the best part is.. they bear grudges and they will remain angry n pissed n carry the sign "do not talk to me" for days... why??

why too..i observed that sorry is so hard to say? especially in the asian countries? like.. is it really hard to say sorry when u do somthing wrong? why do kids in singapore not say sorry when they hit some one? instead.. they run to their mama n mama has to say sorry. n why do parents in singapore so fast to protect their children in most cases or fast to scold the child when they do not know what was actually happening? is this what we call singapore culture? is this how we want our kids to be brought up in? kids learn things really fast and they will pick these up. everyone knows that. but then why again, do parents show these actions infront of their kids? thinking that they do not understand a single thing? i'm facinated by all the contradictions that we singaporeans are living in.

why do they say that being an educator is the hardest job? the kids? the school? the environment or is it just the status? do u see now how environment is playing a vital role in every issue i'm talking about? why so they say that kids are hard to handel in school these days? is it the system? the govt? or is it the parents and the principle pushing these poor kids to the limits? why is it that there is exams and when we dun do well, parents will scold, ground etc. the kids? then again.. what is doing well.. can it be measured? with me getting a high distinction in a freaking screwed up subject, i can get remarks from my parents that its not good enuf. or things like.. get all HDs for all the other subjects.. dun slack OR ELSE.. whats up with singaporeans and the OR ELSE? at least my mom was proud of me doing well for the 1st time! thats so not the point! my point here now is.. why is singapore such a stressful place? n the best thing is.. we dun have psychologist to help this country out!!! where has all the psychologist gone too?

being in this major let me realise the importance of knowing people. how to handle situations. but then again... is it useful? usually.. people who enters psychology or has a career in it faces lots of trouble at home. take this for an eg.. i know a family where its broken.. not that the dad n mom is seperated. but.. the boy in the household has turned super bad and go against his parents and now.. he's under his usual potential. is this now.. the wonders of the dad who is appearently a psychologist? are psychologist so philosophical that kids can turn bad? whatever the dad studied in school, is it now correct when he uses it on his kid? if so.. then y the kid turned bad? to us.. the kid is bad.. but to the kid.. is it a form of attention because he did not get any from his family or is it just because of the environment? of course.. there are other options.

now.. is it rude to say something u really want to let it out to someone? well.. as far as i know in the singapore context.. letting out in a horrible way is called rude. how about in the western countries? is letting out a good thing? what if the person letting out his anger this very day was because he/she had a bad day. do we still consider that as being rude? know how parents love to tell their kids.. "don't u be rude" whats rude? to talk back? but talking back is a form of delivering ur ideas and voicing out in case there is better ideas right? so.. now.. whats rude?

u know.. there are so many issues that i love to touch on n get ur feedback. but i think this is enuf to let all of u know that chermaine is confused and YES i want to hear ur views! please drop me a tagg or mail me! =)
